Snack – JKs were encouraged to eat a healthy snack. We have been having regular conversations about the importance of eating fruits and vegetables.

Recess and Lunch

Morning circle time : We sang our goodmorning train song, weather and days of the week and then counted until 30. We did our message board and spoke about this week’s schedule and expectations. We talked about the letter H and came up with a huge list of words that start with the letter.

Also today , we went through some of the rules for Halloween and show/tell aagain. For tomorrow , we are all encouraged to wear spirit harvest colors such as brown, orange, yellow and green or halloween costumes with no scary faces or weapons. 

Language :Today we worked on writing and tracing the letter H. our main focus was eye/hand coordination , pincer grasp and being attendant to letter H in print.

Math – We focused on one-digit numbers 1-9. The student read the number correctly, traced numbers and then colored in the corresponding amount of pumpkin seeds.

Also today , we went through some of the rules for Halloween and show/tell and we all shared our ideas with each other

Event of the day : Today was picture day and our bake sale !

Language :Today we worked on writing and tracing the letter H. our main focus was eye/hand coordination , pincer grasp and being attendant to letter H in print.

Math – we had centers for cognitive cubes and puzzle. Our main focus this week is the concept of patterns and seriations

Hello Wednesday !

Morning Circle Time: We sang our favorite morning song, learned about the weather/ days of the week and months of the year. Our morning messages today was about being kind and using our gentle words when we are talking to our friends. We spoke about the importance of respecting each other's bodies and belongings as well.We chose a book to read together and decided to go with “ Discovering Dinos”. Also today we talked about making good choices and gave examples what they could be.

Math UOI : Children learned how to sort and seriate cubes based on two catagories

Language UOI : Molded playdough into the letter G .

Dairy Farm visit : Also today we had a visitor from the farm come talk to us about the benenfits of milk and how to milk a cow in the farm. we watched a short video and then tried using the machine ourselves on the balloon cow in the classroom.

Recess and Lunch

Language – Today we sat together in a big circle and spoke about international day which is being held tomorrow between 2:30-3:15. We spoke about the concept of language and countries and how people have different traditions and ways of dressing up, eating and talking.

We also worked on the formation of the letter F and practiced tracing the uppercase and lowercase letters on paper and on the board.

 Math – We were counting the spots on various pictures and then matching it to the number that presents the spots
