Morning circle time : We sang our goodmorning train song, weather and days of the week and then counted until 60. We did our message board and spoke about this week’s schedule and expectations. We talked about the letter L and came up with a huge list of words that start with the letter.

Also today , we rehearsed in the anti-chamber for our christmas concert and went over the rules of the being on the stage.

Language :Today we worked on writing and tracing the letter L. our main focus was eye/hand coordination , pincer grasp and being attendant to letter L in print.

Math – we had centers for cognitive cubes and puzzle. Our main focus this week is the concept of patterns and seriations

Language :Today we worked on writing all the alphabets from A-J in both uppercase and lowercase . We practiced with our color identification and colored our favorite fruits today. Also today we practiced writing numbers 8-9-10. Also today, we talked about the health benefits of fruits and vegetables

Writing Assessment :Today we did our upper case writing pre-assessment. It was the end of the unit 1 beginning of Unit 2 graph to help us see where our strengths and weakness'es are.

I hope all of my Jk friends and family enjoyed their look weekend. This is going to be a busy short week ahead of us and we are more than excited to b be sharing it with you all.

Played in the snow and enjoyed it alot ! we made sure to stay safe and warm in our winter gear.


Morning circle time : We sang our goodmorning train song, weather and days of the week and then counted until 45. We did our message board and spoke about this week’s schedule and expectations. We talked about the letter J and came up with a huge list of words that start with the letter.

Also during circle time , we spoke about the science experiment we will be conducting together tomorrow. we gathered information about volcanos and asked questions such as :

• Do you know what a volcano is?
• Do you think a volcano is hot or cold?
• What comes out of a volcano?
• What do firemen do?
• Is fire hot or cold?

So then we decided to make our own experiment and use baking soda and vinegar. Before starting, we watched a short video about how to make a volcano eruption in the classroom.
